The LCO Web & Digital Media team oversees the online streaming of all legislative proceedings and manages more than 20 websites for the legislature and conjoined entities.
Civic Education
Each year, legislators are asked to complete in-school visits with students to teach them the importance of civics both locally and on a national level.
Press Conferences/Media Briefings
The LCO maintains a lengthy list of local and national media contacts, along with a healthy working relationship with the media to assist in facilitating media coverage in a variety of different manners.
Press Credentialing
The LCO credentials only members of the working news media for coverage of the Louisiana Legislature.
